    Comments:

I use these bags for commuting purposes. They are quite tough, if a bit heavy. Such weight should be expected from a bag this big. They are definitely water-proof. At least if something is spilled inside them. Haven't used them in the rain yet as I have only had them since January. The interchange hardware is really nice as all one must do is set the bag on the rack and push the handle down. Removal is just as easy as all one must do is grab the handle and lift. These bags do not flop around either. Very good bags. The problem I have with them is the rivets used to hold the Interchange hardware in place. The rivets protrude into the bag's cargo area a fair distance and they have somewhat sharp burrs on them. These burrs have punctured a water bottle and a food container. I have also noted that if used as grocery bags, produce would almost certainly be damaged by the rivets as would many packages.
