Comments:
Used it for cycling, hiking, hunting, and at work underneath my kevlar helmet. Thin enough to not notice it under helmets and provides excellent warmth without becoming bogged down in sweat. The elastic band tightened after the first wash, which made it a little uncomfortable, thus 4 stars. Overall it has become a staple of my outdoor kit for coldweather.

Comments:
Love this headliner because it's thinner than my fleece beanie and warmer. Fits under my cycling helmet. Pulls down to also cover my ears.
Comments:
Did a 6000 mile round trip with this on my head, under my helmet. Mind you I don't take my helmet off, even in no helmet states. Temperatures ranged from 47 - 94 degrees and I never broke a sweat or, despite getting caught In a hail, rain, wind storm in Mill City NE, and having to stand in the rain for an hour because I-80 was shut down, I was warm as toast. Wouldn't leave home without it.
Comments:
I purchased two Smartwool NTS Mid 250 Headliners; one for myself, one as a Christmas gift. I had just purchased a ski helmet and I needed something to cover my bald head when wearing my ski helmet. I just used the headliner for the first time this past week skiing and it was fabulous. I consider this as one of the best investments in ski clothing that I have made. By the way, the person to whom I gave a Smartwool NTS Mid 250 Headliner used it and thought it was great!
Comments:
I bought this to wear for some winter sports, but it fits so perfectly I wear it all the time...durable and warm...used it under my ski cap up in Wyoming in 10 degree windy weather and it kept my head nice and toasty.
Comments:
I use this beanie underneath my climbing and biking helmets. It never gets too warm and always protects my ears from the cold. My only complaint is that I don't have 10 of these! :-)
Comments:
During a few early morning rides, I had to cut the rides short as my head was just too cold. Once I started using this, I've never looked back. Keeps my head and ears warm without the bulk. Excellent value! Highly recommended.
